Manual Pull Station Requirements (as per NFPA 72)

The requirements for manual pull stations as per NFPA 72 are pretty trivial and straight-forward.  NFPA 72 requires that manual pull stations be installed within 60 inches of the exit doorway of each exit, mounted between 42 inches and 48 inches to the center of the handle, and, among other things, be red in color.  Below we have an picture of a typical manual pull station.
